David L. Cowee
David is a financial speaker, educator, and advisor who has been assisting pre-retirees and retirees in the East Texas area since 1988. He is the Founder of Pineywoods Financial, a State of Texas Registered Investment Advisor Representative, and a licensed insurance agent. The success of his firm is a direct reflection of his deep commitment to his clients, their families, and the concerns they bring to his door.
For over three decades, his advice and planning strategies have been staples in the retirement planning process for thousands of people. He teaches them how to protect and preserve their assets, increase their retirement income, and reduce their taxes. David’s instructing has led many courses for other advisors across the country on advanced estate planning strategies.
His dedication to his family, church, clients, and community is reflected in his professional and personal life daily. He is an Elder at Fredonia Hill Baptist Church and a member of The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce. David lives just outside of Nacogdoches with his wife, Sheila, of over 39 years. They spend every spare moment with their six precious grandchildren.
Chad C. Wood
Chad has been serving clients at Pineywoods Financial since 2020. He has spent most of his adult life as a successful business owner and has a passion for helping other improve their financial situation. He enjoys teaching people how to manage their finances so they can better protect and preserve their assets, reduce their taxes, and keep more money in their pocket.
Chad is a strong advocate for his clients, working to help them achieve their goals. He considers trust, honesty, and transparency to be three key ingredients for a strong client/advisor relationship. His dedication to his family, church, clients, and community is reflected in his professional and personal life daily.
Chad and Jamie have been married for over 15 years. They are very active in their community and are member at Fredonia Hill Baptist Church where Chad serves as a deacon. They occasionally enjoy a getaway to go scuba diving and spearfishing. Their two children keep them on their toes, and they love spending time together as a family most of all.
